MCC spring semester enrollment up 12%, summer registration still open

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College would like to congratulate Bullhead Campus students Jollene Ramirez and Karla Carrera for being selected to represent the College as 2025 All-Arizona Academic Team members.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is filled with talented students in and outside of the classroom. Kelly Malouin, Lake Havasu Campus student, is no different.
At MCC, she’s working towards earning her associate degree in Liberal Arts, while focusing on art and working on transferring to a four-year university to study public relations. Malouin decided to attend MCC because it’s local and wanted to complete her pre-requisite courses before transferring to a university.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society – Alpha Chi Omega chapter on the Kingman Campus hosted its induction ceremony Thursday for new members for Fall 2024.
Thirty-one new PTK members were inducted: Trevor Agee, Sherry Alvarado, Marcos Anaya, Dani Asplin, Aaron Barnes, Stephanie Bowen, Jamie Bower, David Burgin, Teresa Chen, Erilyn Dean, Tegi Elovirta, Maria Esparza, Candida Fernandez, Jennifer Gunn, Tiffany Hendrick, Kaitlyn Holmes, Stephen Krueger, Joshua Ladson, Crystal Longwell, Bailey Mack, Breanne McDaniel, Attica McEwen, Emilie Newcomb, Adrian Rosales Alejandre, Joshua Ryan, Summer Sauer, William Schleeter, Jamil Spears, Robert Strawn, Tayla Taylor and Amanda Thurman.
MOHAVE COUNTY – MCC Community Education is bringing back, and adding to, its long list of holiday offerings for adults and kids to enjoy in the coming months. From decorating cookie plates for Santa to baking treats for the whole family, the College provides plenty of opportunities to get you into the holiday spirit.
Cookies for Santa will see participants create a personalized cookie plate for Santa, with the plate and paints provided by MCC. Participants need only bring their imagination. Once the plate is fired, come pick up your custom plate and keep it as a family keepsake.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is adding Phlebotomy to its Community Education division’s list of non-credit classes. This means students have the option of learning Phlebotomy from both the college credit and non-credit academic divisions.
Many people may not realize that MCC offers credit and non-credit classes. What’s the difference between credit classes and non-credit classes? Simply put:
* Non-credit classes are generally short-term, with no grades and the student does not earn a college degree upon completion.
