At the beginning of the Trump D.O.G.E. uproar, I saw on TV a veteran being pulled out of a town meeting for standing up and calling out a Trump Representative who said, “The President is doing a great job doing exactly what the American people mandated him to do.”
I was at one of our local supermarkets last week and paid for my groceries with a check. The checker politely informed me that by the end of this year checks would no longer be accepted. I told her I guess I will shop elsewhere then.
The Department of Health and Human Services’ plan to cut 10,000 full-time jobs across several agencies is a soulless move that puts greed over the well-being of our citizens. These layoffs will have devastating consequences.
Let’s give the tariffs time to work. I’m as anxious as you are since everything I have is tied to the stock market. If the stock market dies, I will be working or starving the rest of my life. Let’s hope things settle down soon. I believe they will and will grow even bigger.
