Pet CPR class offered
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Frontline Coalition will be returning to Lake Havasu this October for their pet CPR training classes. Owner and Pet CPR Instructor of Frontline Coalition Malinda Malone will be sharing everything pet owners need to know about saving their furry companion’s lives.
No injuries in LHC house fire
LAKE HAVASU CITY – No one was home and no one was injured during an Oct. 17 residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Fire department personnel responded at 6:30 a.m. to the incident in the 700 block of Malibu Circle.
Lee named to Dean’s List
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Jennifer Lee of Lake Havasu City has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Summer 2024 Dean’s List. The summer terms run from May to August.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
MCC’s annual Pumpkinfest event is back for the community
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is hosting its annual Pumpkinfest event for the community! MCC’s Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead campuses will have a lot of fun games, treats and candy. The event is free and for all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Gold Star ceremony honored fallen military heroes
LAKE HAVASU CITY – It was an especially moving evening for the military moms of Lake Havasu recently as the community honored the mothers of veterans who lost their children while serving this country.
The ceremony took place on Sunday, Sept. 29 at Wheeler Park. Gold Star Mothers Incorporated was created to keep the legacy alive of the fallen children who dedicated their time and service in the military.
The last day Sunday in September is when the mothers who have lost sons and daughters honor their children with a candlelight ceremony in remembrance of their bravery.
