Morgan sentenced for waterway death

A two-year prison term has been ordered for a California man convicted in a waterway fatality. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert imposed sentence Oct. 22 for Kevin Morgon, 47. Morgon pleaded guilty to negligent homicide and aggravated assault for a June, 2016 accident on the Colorado River in Bullhead City. A boat operated by Morgon collided with a jet ski. A 13-year-old girl on the personal watercraft was killed and her mother was seriously injured.
