Surveying beginning in downtown Kingman in June

KINGMAN – Surveying beginning June 1, and lasting through mid-June for the Downtown Infrastructure Design Project (Formerly, Downtown Streetscape Project). The consultants hired by the city will be gathering data from store front to store front, street, curbs, etc.  on Beale from 1st Street to 6th St (half a block on the north and all the way to Andy Devine on the south at the intersecting streets). There will not be any traffic control needed as it will be a moving operation in the street, but there will be personnel on the sidewalks and other areas.

Kingman Mayor Jen Miles said, “We are happy to be moving forward with this project. The goal is to enhance the street to provide a safe, attractive, comfortable street that connects bicyclists, pedestrians, and vehicular users to several destinations along Beale Street.”

Wood Environment and Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Consultant) will provide design services to the City of Kingman for the Beale Street – Downtown Infrastructure Design Project (Formerly, Downtown Streetscape Project).
