State legislators to brief Republican Women on legislation

KINGMAN – State Senator Sonny Borrelli as well as State Representatives Leo Biasiucci and Regina Cobb are scheduled to speak at the regular meeting of Kingman Republican Women (KRW) on Monday, August 2.

The legislators were originally scheduled to appear in June; however, they were  delayed due to the legislature being in session and approval of the State budget.

Arizona election laws are a top concern of KRW and the legislators will provide information on laws that were passed by the legislature that will make Arizona elections more secure as well as the latest information on the AZ Senate GOP’s court ordered audit of  Maricopa County ballots.  There will be time devoted to questions from the audience.   The public is invited to attend this informative meeting and to bring questions that they have for their elected representatives.

The Kingman Republican Women meet on the first Monday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Meetings are held at the College Park Church Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Ave. facing Van Nuys, are open to the public and membership is not required. There is a $3 fee to cover the cost of the meeting room. A light lunch which includes a drink will be available for a nominal fee. Brown baggers are welcome.
