LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last weekend Tad Management ended their Lake Havasu concert season with a very special tribute to country music singer and songwriter, Toby Keith. The Toby: Tribute to Toby Keith concert took place on Saturday, June 8 at the Aquatic Center.

For the past four years, the tribute show production company known as Tad Management has been hosting their jam-packed concert series featuring various musicians paying homage to famous well-loved artists through music. 2006 was when Tad Management began to expand from just Phoenix Metro area entertainment to national and international acts for casinos and cruise lines.

This year, their five-month season of high caliber shows in Havasu featured tribute bands for legendary musicians like the Eagles and Bryan Adams. Last weekend, the music of Toby Keith was brought to the community by sensational tribute entertainer Hollywood Yates who discovered his talents for imitating famous singers at age seven with Elvis Presley impersonations. As an adult, the Tad Management performer’s show business career led him to guest appearances on Access Hollywood, Fox News, and the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Yates’s love of rodeos, American culture, and country music made him the perfect match for performing Keith favorites in celebration of the musician’s memory.

In the early 1990’s, country music fans fell in love with Keith songs like, ‘He Ain’t Worth Missing’ and ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy,’ which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs. The singer obtained several music awards from 2001 to 2021 from the American Country Music Awards. At the end of 2021, the artist underwent radiation and chemotherapy for his stomach cancer diagnosis. In February of this year, Keith lost his battle with the illness. The singer was 62, and left his fans with decades of heartfelt melodies that will last a lifetime.

The Toby Keith tribute show had the crowd dancing and singing to the body of Toby Keith songs performed by Yates. Yates delighted attendees with Keith fan favorites like, ‘I Love this Bar, How Do You Like Me Now, Wish I Didn’t Know Now,’ along with several other popular hit songs by Keith. Snacks and beverages were available for purchase along with a 50/50 raffle drawing that went towards Hospice of Havasu.

Stay tuned for next year’s Tad Management concert season in Lake Havasu. The production agency usually begins their shows each January for the community to enjoy.
