LAKE HAVASU CITY – Bullhead City’s Baked and Loaded bakery shop visited Lake Havasu last week to spotlight some of our local small business owners at their Small Business Shopping event. The Lake Havasu Small Business Shopping event took place on Saturday, May 18 at the KAWS event venue.
Quarantines that happened during the pandemic gave birth to many incredible business launches and Baked and Loaded just so happens to be one of them. Owner Michelle Talley turned her love of cookie baking into a business during the 2020 lockdowns.
The Small Business shopping event showcased 21 local businesses all prepared to show off their unique companies and organization with the community. Entrepreneurs in attendance of this event was Andrea Hines of Cruise Planners where she helps vacationers plan their dream vacation, and Taylor Swank of Lip Talk with Tay LipSense and Beauty, a cosmetic line for long lasting makeup.
Dave Camara of D-J’s Custom Jewelry had a beautiful display of jewelry there to show and owner of Lake Havasu’s Serenity Beauty Lounge, Demi Eagle, was at the fair sharing her salon services for haircuts, nails, waxing, and much more. Baked and Loaded has previously organized small business fairs throughout Mohave County to promote and highlight other small businesses just like theirs.
