Shooting suspect nabbed

KINGMAN – A suspect in a Dec. 30 shooting in Kingman has been arrested outside Phoenix. Eustolio Gill, 36, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday evening, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s office.

Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said investigation of the violence at a home in the 2700 block of E. Carver Avenue produced information suggesting Gill was hiding at a Mesa motel. She said Gill was apprehended there with assistance from the Mesa Police Department.

Gill will be transported back to Mohave County where he faces prosecution for attempted first degree murder. Mortensen said the man who was shot remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
