Schuster, Kentch leading republican votes

MOHAVE COUNTY  – Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster piled up 73% of the vote to win the republican primary nomination for a third, four-year term Tuesday. Schuster had an insurmountable 13,659 vote lead over challenger Mike Gannuscio (21,673-8,014) Wednesday, though election returns are preliminary and unofficial pending canvas.

Challenger Becky Foster led incumbent Jeanne Kentch at one point Tuesday night in the republican primary for County Assessor. Kentch, however, rallied for a lead as of Wednesday:

John Warren has a comfortable lead in the three way race for County School Superintendent:
