LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is in the final stages of roadway construction along Riviera Boulevard and Riviera Drive. To ensure public safety and efficient project completion, specific closures and detours, including flaggers, are implemented next week, beginning Monday, January 20, 2025. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and avoid these areas whenever possible.
On January 20, roadway milling operations occur from 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Starting at 4:00 a.m., Riviera Boulevard from McCulloch Boulevard to Mesquite Avenue is closed until 6:00 a.m. From 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Riviera Drive is closed to thru traffic from Mesquite Avenue to Palo Verde South, including closures at Pima Drive, Mimosa Drive, and Injo Drive from Moyo Drive to Riviera Drive.
On January 21, roadway paving operations are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Riviera Drive is closed from Injo Drive to Palo Verde Boulevard South, including Pima Drive and Mimosa Drive. Detours are in place to redirect traffic at Pima Drive and Mimosa Drive to Acoma Boulevard.
On January 22, roadway paving operations are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Riviera Drive is closed from Mesquite Avenue to Pima Drive, and Injo Drive is closed to thru traffic from Moyo Drive to Riviera Drive.
On January 23, nighttime paving operations occur between 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. Riviera Boulevard is closed from McCulloch Boulevard to Mesquite Avenue during this time, with a detour available via Smoketree Avenue.
On January 24, paving operations occur from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a lane restriction at Palo Verde Boulevard South. Additionally, Riviera Drive is closed from Pima Drive to Palo Verde Boulevard South.
