River Valley Devils Carwash Fundraiser and FREE 2 Day Football Camp

The River Valley Devils Youth Football Program will be holding a special car wash fundraiser on Saturday, May 11 at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 4699 S. Hwy 95 in Bullhead City, beginning at 8 a.m. The proceeds from the fundraiser will help the organization reach their goal of $3,900 to cover the cost of reconditioning their existing 75 helmets as well as purchasing additional helmets and equipment.

The money will also be used to help cover sponsorships for kids who want to play football or cheer but whose families just can’t afford it. No one is turned away.

The organization will also be hosting a free two-day football camp on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Mohave Valley Community Park, located behind River Valley High School.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-14, who will learn basic skills and drills of football, non-contact as they won’t be in gear.  Every participant will receive a shirt and a free lunch. Families are welcome and are invited to enjoy a BBQ, bounce house and Kona Ice while their kids are participating at camp!

Entering their third season, the “River Valley Devils Youth Football and Cheer” hope to also add to their team, which grew from 60 kids in 2017 to over 90 kids in 2018. Interested players can sign up during camp.

The camp is being organized by the program’s board of directors and will be run by volunteer coaches, including Vernon Canning, Mike Montgomery, James Sumrall and Dustin Steinbeck.
