RITA J. BURCHFIELD

Rita J. Burchfield, 63, of Golden Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at KRMC Joan and Diana Hospice Home.

Rita was born in Bloomington, Ind., on March 10, 1956 to Raymond E. and Freeda M. (Frye) Terrell. She graduated from Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy until her honorable discharge in 1976. She married Terry L. Burchfield on July 4, 1999. They celebrated 20 years of marriage. Rita enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, couponing, sewing, and her dachshunds.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents.

Rita is survived by her husband, Terry L. Burchfield of Golden Valley, Ariz; daughter, Santana Solomon and husband James of Golden Valley, Ariz; son, Emory R. Stout and wife Chrissy of Spencer, Ind.; step-daughters, Trish Burchfield of Bloomington, Ind., and Devonne Robertson and husband Frank of Bloomington, Ind.; grandchildren, Alexander, Brooklyn, Zachary, Abby, Katie, Austin, Jesse, and Michael; brother, David R Terrell of Bloomington, Ind.
The family will be holding a memorial service at the VFW located at 6068 Supai Dr, Golden Valley, AZ 86413 on Sunday, October 13th at 1:30 PM.
