Police seek information in child porn bust

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man has been jailed for 10 counts each of sexual exploitation of a minor and voyeurism. Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said it was a cyber-tip about his alleged possession of child pornography material that prompted investigation of Travis Richmond, 37.

Richmond was arrested Dec. 3 following a search of his home in the 1900 block of Easy St. Mortensen said evidence collection supported the cyber-tip.

“Detectives also located evidence of voyeurism, however it is undetermined if Richmond was recording videos in local stores or if the videos had been downloaded online,” Mortensen said. “Detectives are working to identify potential victims and businesses affected by these crimes and investigation is ongoing.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 928-753-0755 in reference to DR#24-045616.
