BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City council has adopted an ordinance that takes aim at pigeon pooping problems throughout the community. It is illegal to feed pigeons and violators can be subjected to citation and fines.
“This has been something that the city is contacted about quite frequently in the past 12 to 18 months,” said city manager Toby Cotter. “Homeowners have just had it with the numbers of pigeons in neighborhoods.”
Cotter said the bird droppings are a nuisance and cause damage to parks, homes, commercial buildings and vehicles. He said purposeful feeding of the birds perpetuates the problem.

The birds have a right to live like anyone else. People are just a bunch of complainers. Clean the mess and leave the pigeons alone. We all need to learn to live in harmony with each other. Humans are more nasty. The birds are just trying to survive. You can’t control nature. It ends up with cruel hateful methods and never solves the problem.
