MOHAVE COUNTY – This week is PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. It is a weeklong event and volunteers will be at both PetSmart locations: Kingman 3260 Stockton Hill Rd and Bullhead City 3699 Arizona 95 #540 on the following days with beautiful puppies and dogs for adoption. All adoption days are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, March 20, Kingman
Friday, March 22, Kingman and Bullhead City
Saturday, March 23, Kingman and Bullhead City
Sunday, March 24, Bullhead City
Adoption fees are $125 but to help clear the shelter the animal shelter will be offering adoption subsidies – dogs over 40 pounds are $25; senior dogs over six years under 40 pounds are $50; puppies and small dogs are $125.

There will also be plenty of cats and kittens from the shelter and Feral Cat Warriors at both locations during PetSmart’s normal operating hours. Adoption fees for kittens and cats are $75 to $95.
All shelter animals are spayed or neutered; microchipped and current on vaccines.
Each come with a free wellness check with a local veterinarian as well as a coupon book from PetSmart with huge savings on everything you will need to bring your furry friend home.
Volunteers are always needed and are welcome to fill out an application at the events or at the shelter.
The shelter is open Monday –through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 950 Buchanan St., in Kingman, 928-753-2727.
PetSmart is also doing a donation drive for the dogs and cats at the Mohave County Animal Shelter and Feral Cat Warriors. You can purchase your donation at the store and it will come directly to them!
