Parking pilot solution rolls out on McCulloch Boulevard

Microsoft Word – lhc parking.txt

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City painted curbs green this week on McCulloch Boulevard to implement the launch of the Downtown Association’s new two-hour parking pilot program aimed at improving customer access and convenience for local business owners in the downtown area.
The 12-month pilot program, initiated by the Downtown Association through the City Council, assigns ten on-street parking spaces with two-hour parking designations. The goal is to ensure parking spaces are available for those visiting downtown businesses, allowing for increased access and more frequent turnover.
According to the association, many on-street spaces are occupied for long periods, preventing customers from easily accessing downtown businesses. By managing this space more effectively, the association hopes to free up parking for those who need it most, including shoppers, diners, and visitors.
The city is committed to keeping the downtown area a welcoming and accessible space for all businesses, residents, and visitors.
