China and US resume cooperation on deportation as Chinese immigrants rush in from southern border

WASHINGTON (AP) — Beijing and Washington have quietly resumed cooperation on the deportation of Chinese immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally, as the two countries are reestablishing and widening contacts following their leaders’ meeting in California late last year. I think they do it because they can get from point A to point B quicker. How can I get them to slow down? They think that N. Bond St is Nascar St., and that they are Rusty Wallace. A lot of them are senior citizens and if you drive the speed limit they tailgate you, then they give you the bird. Donald Darling Kingman

More than 1,000 pounds of marijuana seized in traffic stop

More than a half ton of marijuana was seized during a Feb. 5 traffic stop near the Nevada border in north Mohave County. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) said the pot was confiscated from a fake delivery van spotted on Interstate 15. “While the van had authentic-looking markings of a commercial package-delivery service, an officer with ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division noticed that the vehicle, traveling northbound toward the Virgin River Gorge, had an out-of-state license plate on the front,” an ADOT news release stated. “Local delivery vans for the company have Arizona plates and registration, but a check…
