KINGMAN – The Mohave County Cooperative Extension Office will hold a Tomato Quest harvest festival in downtown Kingman. The event will be Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Locomotive Park, 310 W. Beale St.
The community is invited to attend the festival with will include locally grown tomatoes and information on growing them. There will be contests, giveaways, local vendors, and kids’ games to make an afternoon the entire family can enjoy.
Bullhead City is preparing for a tidal wave of senior softball enthusiasts as the 17th Annual Spring Classic Senior Softball Tournament now through Wednesday, March 6. Year after year, this popular event has continued to add teams to the brackets with teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Washington and Utah. On Thursday, March 21, Kingman Police Department (KPD) Lt. Bob Fisk retired after 25 years of service to the Kingman Police Department and the City of Kingman. Fisk started his law enforcement career as a patrol officer in July 1993. During his service Fisk was assigned as a patrol officer, motor officer and a detective. Fisk was promoted and served as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant and Detective Lieutenant. KPD is thankful for Fisk’s service to the Kingman Police Department and the City of Kingman. They will miss him and wish him the best in this new chapter…
