COVID-19 update: 101 new cases, two deaths on Wednesday

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 101 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. This includes two deaths that are not previously reported cases. One is a 50-59 year age range person in the Bullhead City service area. The other is an 80-89 person in the Kingman area. Sixty-six of the new cases (including the death) are in the Bullhead City area. Twenty-seven cases are in the Lake Havasu City area. KINGMAN – Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC) will host its monthly movie night on Friday, July 31 beginning at 6 p.m. The featured movie is Ninotchka, an American romantic comedy featuring Greta Garbo, Melvyn Douglas, and Ina Clair. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman has expressed thanks for acts of kindness provided to local firefighters during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Fire Chief Jake Rhoades said the local brother-sister business partnership of Mark Peterson and Krystal Burge quietly stepped up with food delivery on multiple occasions during the month of April, and beyond.
