Crash flight could bring prison

A Mohave County judge has broad discretion in pondering punishment for a Lake Havasu City man who fled the scene after his vehicle struck and injured a motorcyclist on May 6. Robert Bergman, 36, could simply be placed on probation or he could be ordered to spend up to 7.5 years in prison. Bergman pleaded guilty Thursday to failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving serious physical injury. OnStar leads to stolen vehicle, arrests

BULLHEAD CITY – A stolen vehicle investigation has led to the arrest of a Tucson couple in Bullhead City. Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said a stolen vehicle alert from OnStar led officers to the 2000 block of Swan Circle at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23. “The people who had the keys to the parked stolen vehicle were staying in a shed at this location,” Fromelt said.
