New ASU director takes helm

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The new Director at ASU at Lake Havasu introduced herself during the July 28 Lake Havasu City Council meeting. Dr. Carla Harcleroad is a native Oregonian with about 17 years of experience in higher education administration.

Harcleroad job-shadowed her predecessor for about three months before taking the helm of the local ASU campus on July 1. She said staff is making optional education delivery plans for the start of fall semester on August 20.

Harcleorad said a construction and renovation project that is underway will also provide more space for student housing.
