Muhle steps down as Kingman City Clerk

Kingman City Clerk Sydney Muhle is stepping down. Muhle said she is resigning her position to be a stay at home mom.

Muhle began her city career in the summer of 2005 and was promoted to deputy city clerk eight years later. She was elevated to clerk in February, 2014.

“My time with the city has been wonderful. I’ve had the honor of working with a fantastic team,” Muhle said. She said her family has made sacrifices during her career pursuits and that she believes its time to reciprocate, return home and put family first.

Muhle’s last day will be August 8.

City Manager Ron Foggin said he has selected Utility Billing Manager Annie Meredith to succeed Muhle. Meredith used to work in the clerk’s office prior to a transfer years ago.

Foggin said Meredith will job shadow with Muhle before starting her new job on August 12.
