Mohave College Bighorns announce youth soccer camp in December

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Bighorns Soccer is excited to host its Kingman Youth Soccer Camp Dec. 13–14. The camp is designed for youth players to improve their game while learning in a fun environment.

Open to boys and girls ages 5–12, this two-day camp will take place at Centennial Park, 3333 Harrison St.  With sessions scheduled for 9 – 11 AM and 2 – 4 PM on Saturday, Dec. 13, and a final morning session from 9 – 11 AM on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the early bird discount, register by Oct. 31 and save $30 on the registration fee. Space is limited to 100 participants, so early sign-up is recommended.

“Mohave soccer camps are entertaining and fun with activities designed to create the Bighorn experience. Our last four camps have been sold out and we expect a great response from families in the Kingman community and surrounding areas,” said Camilo Valencia, Athletics Director and Men’s Head Soccer Coach.

The camp curriculum will focus on passing, shooting and dribbling, as well as small sided games and scrimmages.

Sessions will be led by the Mohave College Men’s and Women’s Soccer coaching staffs, along with current student-athletes, giving campers a unique opportunity to meet and play with current Bighorns!

Mohave College is home to competitive men’s and women’s soccer programs focused on academic and athletic excellence, and giving back to the communities in Mohave County. Through events like the Kingman Youth Soccer Camp, the Bighorns aim to inspire the next generation of athletes.
