Mingle-Jingle Christmas Bazaar and Street of Lights winners announced

KINGMAN – Businesses and Kingman communities gathered for one of the biggest downtown Kingman events of the year. An estimated 15,000 residents enjoyed beautiful Christmas lights and floats, food trucks, booths, and so much more on Saturday, December 7.

For the past couple of years, Everything Kingman, Kingman’s Mobile app, has been holding a People’s Choice voting poll for the best floats and lights of the Street of Lights Music Festival.

According to Kingman citizens,

  • First place goes to #25: White Cliffs Middle School Cheer.
  • Second place goes to #39: Greatwest Towing.
  • Third place goes to #15: Kingman Central Youth, Central Church Youth Group.

Judge tallies have come in as of December 9.

• Winner for Best Overall- Swire Coca-Cola.

• Best Lighted Group – Tie between Kingman Academy High School Renaissance Club & Nucor Steel.

• Best Lighted Static Display- Tie Between All-State & Foster Insurance Agency.

• Best Lighted Vehicle- Kingman Air Cool.

• Most Creative- Healthy Families.

• Best Mobility- Con Roc Ready Mix LLC.

• Best Themed- Hilltop Foursquare Church.

• Most Spirited- Kingman High School Spirit Team.

Honorable mentions are given to the Mohave Ghost Busters, Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District, and Pharos Car Club.

At the Mingle-Jingle Christmas Bazaar between 1 and 4 p.m., children were invited to come into Beale Celebrations to meet and take pictures with Santa. Santa left Beale Celebrations at four to land on the Kingman High School field where he would then go to his castle to meet more kids. Photo by Noel Mabile

People’s Choice Awards were pending as of presstime.

Vendors inside of Beale Celebrations during the Mingle Jingle Christmas Bazaar were also voted on for best booth.

• First place for best booth went to All Dolled Up.

• Second place was granted to Scentsy

• Third place was granted to Dazzle Addictions.
