MCC enrollment window opens Oct. 21, additional academic program added

Mohave Community College enrollment window opens Oct. 21 for the 2025 spring and summer semesters. Biology students at MCC get to use the pond on the Kingman campus to learn class curriculum.

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave Community College enrollment window opens Oct. 21 for the 2025 spring and summer semesters. Spring semester starts January 13 and the summer semester begins June 2.

Students can get a head start on the process to ensure they successfully enroll in their preferred classes. Signing up as early as possible also allows the College to determine if more courses need to be added to meet the demand. Classes are being held on campus, online and remotely via Zoom.

This spring semester, the College Health and Public Service Division is starting a new academic program – Respiratory Care Practitioner. It will be offered on the Kingman campus and is an 18-month program designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills and professionalism to provide respiratory care to patients. To learn more about the program, visit www.Mohave.edu/respiratory-care.

Mohave Community College has four academic divisions, providing many educational pathways for students. These range from career-focused programs and traditional university transfer options to classes designed for personal enrichment and lifelong learning.

Three of the four divisions allow students to earn college degrees or certificates, with college credits that can be transferred to universities. These for-credit divisions are:

* Career and Technical Education

* Arts & Sciences

* Health and Public Safety

* MCC strives to make college affordable for everyone seeking a degree and/or certificate. Tuition for courses offered by the three for-credit divisions is $91 per credit hour. This low tuition rate, combined with scholarships and financial aid, help make a college education attainable for everyone throughout the region. In-state senior citizens also get a 50% tuition reduction in all College for-credit courses.

New and returning students who would like to pursue, or continue pursuing, a college degree and/or certificate are encouraged to get started by visiting Mohave.edu/Admission, or stop by their local campus and visit with the Student Services team.

Once a person creates a student account online and fills out the free application, a college Student Services representative will be in contact to help guide you through the enrollment process, including tuition assistance options.

The fourth academic division at the college is Corporate and Community Education, which offers short-term classes with no grades and students do not earn college credits. These classes can often be completed in a day, do not follow traditional semesters and are available for enrollment year-round. Non-credit classes and fees can be found at CE.Mohave.edu.

MCC is also now welcoming international students who meet the requirements for admission, have demonstrated English proficiency and have the documented financial ability to attend the College. For more information, go to Mohave.edu/international-students. More information is available at the college’s four campuses, online at Mohave.edu, or by calling 866-MOHAVECC (866-664-2832).
