Master Gardener Training Course offered

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Master Gardener Training Course provides research-based horticulture information you will use as a Master Gardener volunteer educator for the Mohave County Cooperative Extension. Topics include soils, basic botany, irrigation and landscape design, composting, plant propagation, basic ecology, vegetables, stake and prune trees/shrubs, fruit trees, native plants, entomology, pest management, and plant diseases.

The 13-week course runs from January 18 to April 18, 2024 and will be held on Thursday mornings from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Classes will be held at Mohave Community College, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West. The cost of the class is $200 and is non-refundable. The deadline for registration is Thursday, January 11, 2024.
