Laughlin gaming numbers up

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – Laughlin casinos enjoyed increased earnings in August. The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports that clubs along the Colorado River logged a gaming win of almost $38.2 million, up 1.5% from August 2018.

The statewide gaming win of $952-million in august represents a 4.3% increase from the same month last year. Analyst Michael Lawton said key drivers of the August win were sports pools and table games, including blackjack, craps and roulette.
