Lane striping scheduled throughout Kingman this week

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman, in partnership with Mohave County, will be conducting lane striping operations across various areas of the city on Tuesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 15, from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Motorists should anticipate intermittent lane restrictions and minor travel delays during this time. Crews will occupy a single lane while work is being performed, and in most locations, vehicles will be able to pass safely around striping equipment. However, drivers are urged to exercise caution, observe posted signage, and avoid driving over freshly applied paint to ensure both safety and quality of the work.

All work is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.

The City of Kingman urges motorists to pay extra attention while driving in and around work zones and maintenance vehicles and encourages the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle. For questions or concerns about the project, please contact the City of Kingman Public Works at 928-757-7467.
