Kingman residents invited to participate in community-wide survey

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman, in collaboration with the National Research Center at Polco, is sending out a resident survey to get input on government services and measure the quality of life in the community. The feedback will play a critical role in shaping Kingman’s upcoming strategic plan, providing residents an opportunity to influence the future direction of the city.  “We are excited to receive input from the community to guide our strategic plan. The survey will give us a baseline understanding of our services and allow us to measure our impact going forward,” said City Manager, Tim Walsh.

The National Community Survey captures opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and other elements of Kingman’s overall livability. The results will help highlight Kingman’s strengths, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize what matters most to its residents. The City will also be able to see how its performance compares to other communities across the country.

Randomly selected households will receive mailed survey invitations over the next few weeks. Households that receive an invitation are asked to follow the enclosed instructions and complete the survey. All residents will have the opportunity to share their input in a few weeks, when the survey becomes available to the entire community.  “We strongly encourage all residents to take the survey. The more people who participate, the better data we will have to inform our plan,” said Manager Walsh. “This is an opportunity for everyone in the community to share their thoughts and shape the future of Kingman.”

If you have questions about the survey, call the City of Kingman at (928) 753-8120. The survey closes on December 11th.
