Kingman partners create Community Connection to address COVID -19

Navigating the ever changing landscape in the wake of COVID-19 has been challenging. The community has seen vast changes in the way they work, how they support their staff, and how a family functions in daily life. There is still a long road of recovery ahead of us as we recover, and it’s vital to support Kingman citizens and businesses through it. Many of our valued community members have already been adversely affected by the current situation, and action needs to be taken to address these pressing concerns. Local resources serving the Kingman area have formed a Community Connection group to provide assistance with food, relief funds and business support.

The Community Connection is comprised of the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, The City of Kingman, River Cities United Way, Better Business Bureau and Central Church. The mission of this group is to funnel our trusted resources into one easily accessible location to provide education and assistance for the community. By calling one of the three numbers below, citizens and businesses will be directed to the appropriate resource for their needs. This process will ensure our most vulnerable population will not only receive the proper services they need, but will also protect them from falling victim to inaccurate and potentially dangerous information.

“Working together in partnership to serve the needs of our community shows the compassionate, caring spirit of so many during this coronavirus pandemic,” shares Jen Miles, Mayor of Kingman. “I appreciate each person and organization associated with the Community Connection.  Together, we will get through the pandemic and come out the other side even stronger and more resilient.”

Help starts here. Please call one of the 3 numbers listed below to find assistance or funds for those affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
