Kingman Fire Department’s Fire Chief, Jake Rhoades named Arizona Fire Chief’s Association’s Treasurer

Jake Rhoades

During the Arizona Fire Chief’s Association’s annual President’s Forum in Tucson, Kingman Fire Department Fire Chief Jake Rhoades was named the new Treasurer.

AFCA President Scott Freitag states, “Jake has shown true dedication and leadership as the Chair of the AFCA’s Fire Service Mutual Aid Committee, and has been an active member of the association during his tenure here in Arizona.” Freitag adds, “He is recognized for his fiscal knowledge through the work he has done as the fire chief of Kingman as well as his vast prior experience. To that end, the AFCA Board of Directors felt that he would be an ideal fit for the present needs as well as the future of the organization.”

The Arizona Fire Chief’s Association is a not for profit organization dedicated to the advancement and sustainability of the Arizona fire service. Rhoades joins new incoming President Scott Freitag, Fire Chief of the Central Arizona Fire & Medical Authority and Vice-President Tom Shannon, Fire Chief of the Scottsdale Fire Department as the organization’s executive board.
