Kingman Concert Band opens 2024-25 season with Off Broadway

KINGMAN – The Kingman Concert Band is tuning up for another dynamic season. Celebrating over 25 years of free community band performances, this season’s line is sure to offer something for every musical taste; Broadway shows to music from around the world and festive tunes to ring in Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day.

The group applauds Kingman Unified School District #20 and its Superintendent Dr. Gretchen Dorner for opening up the district’s high school auditoriums at no cost for three Kingman Concert Band performances this season. Bravo, KUSD, for supporting musicians of all ages! A 24-year tradition, the Band’s annual Christmas concert will again be hosted by our loyal friends at Kingman Presbyterian Church. All KCB concerts continue to be free and open to the public thanks to these valued community partners.

The 2024-25 season will open with “On Broadway,” Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Kingman High School auditorium. This will be following by “Christmas is Coming,” on Saturday, Dec 14 at 7 p.m. at Kingman Presbyterian Church. Two concerts are set for 2025, “Luck of the Irish” on March 1 and “A Musical Journey” on May 4.

The Kingman Concert Band, Inc. is dependent upon financial contributions for the continued growth of the band, its music library, and other operational necessities. Please consider supporting our non-profit organization through such avenues as the KCB Donors Program, KCB Music Sponsorship Program, Smith’s Inspiring Donation Program, or Amazon Wishlist. Contributions made through the Donors Program will be acknowledged in concert programs and the band’s online presence throughout the 2024-2025 musical season.
