Kingman Center for the Arts moving to Art Hub

Starting July 1, 2019, Kingman Center for the Arts will be moving its home to the ArtHub, located at 402 E. Beale Street.  The former ArtHub Residency program is transforming with them into an expanded art gallery and education center, featuring local talent and quality art instruction. Kingman Center for the Arts is excited to bring new opportunities to the Kingman Community and with this new facility, grow as an organization.

They want to send a huge thank you to Angle Homes for their generous donation of the ArtHub location. Their restoration of this historic building in 2014 has assisted in bringing downtown Kingman back to life and their generosity continues to fuel our growing arts scene.

Kingman Center for the Arts’ monthly gallery shows will now be featured in the beautiful historic ArtHub building. Existing KCA classes will continue and new classes will be added to the roster.

Important dates:

July 13: Life Drawing Class

July 20: Paint with Kathy noon – 4 p.m.

August 2: Abstract Show opens at 10 a.m. at the ArtHub.  First Friday Artist Reception 5 – 7 p.m.  Information about new and existing classes will also be given during this time with an opportunity to meet teachers.

Kingman Center for the Arts will also continue to raise funds for the Beale Street Theater Renovation fund.  They have reached $35,000 of the $100,000 Angle Homes Matching Grant Challenge.  The project is currently in the design phase.  The next step is to get construction drawings drawn and put the project out for bid.  For information on this project or to make a donation, please contact info@bealestreettheater.com.  With this move in location, the Beale Street Theater production program is looking for a new rehearsal location. As most of their money is going toward the renovation project, they are looking for low cost options.  Please contact them at info@bealestreettheater.com if you know of a rehearsal facility they could use while the theater is under renovation.
