Kingman Cancer Care Unit receives much needed support from Kingman family businesses

Members of the Kingman Cancer Care Unit (KCCU) pose briefly under the ‘Hoe Arm” of the Bobcat brand track hoe available for rent at Merten’s Bobcat & Heavy Equipment Rentals on Andy Devine Ave., (East Route 66) in Kingman.

“Every time this machine is rented we donate a portion of its income to the Kingman Cancer Care Unit,” says Lori (Merten) Sales Manger of Merten’s Bobcat of Kingman. “We’ve added the pink decals and a little verbiage on the back of the machine pledging our support for KCCU of Kingman; we are longtime supporters of the fight against cancer,” Lori added.

Another way to support the KCCU of Kingman is by getting your car washed during the Mangelsdorf

Family Dentistry Annual Charity Car Wash.

This year Linda Mangelsdorf and the entire staff of Mangelsdorf Family Dentistry teamed up with the

folks at the Airway Carwash donating the water, the soap and even quarters to vaccumn the inside.

Longtime volunteer Diana Kenney (volunteering since 2002) sits in the operating seat as considers her

next gardening project!

Perhaps the most tenured volunteer is Doris Bower, volunteering since 1975.
