Jack Ehrhardt endorsed

Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to endorse a true progressive candidate for Mohave County District 4 Supervisor, Jack Ehrhardt. Jack has worked with me through the past 10 years to protect one million acres of our beautiful Grand Canyon lands from uranium mining which would threaten its pristine beauty and would pollute the Colorado River with toxic heavy metals. Jack Ehrhardt, a conservative conservationist, has been and is an active local leader in preserving northwestern Arizona water resources for residents, municipalities and businesses. He is a contractor dedicated to building environmentally sound structures on native lands and for residential housing in this area.

Being an energy efficiency consultant to the Arizona Army National Guard, a community planning and economic development director, community college teacher, an Arizona licensed contractor who served on the Bullhead City Planning and Zoning Commission, board member for the local Boys and Girls Club and currently a general contractor and site supervisor for projects on southwestern tribal lands make Jack one of the most qualified candidates for Board of Supervisors Mohave County has had in quite some time.

I am proud to endorse and support Jack Ehrhardt for Mohave County Board of Supervisor District 4. I feel he will make an excellent board member and I hope Jack will continue working with me on future water and environmental issues for our Arizona citizens.

U.S. Representative , Arizona 3rd Congressional District

  1. Whenever I discover any candidate and their campaign strategies are not above board and executed honestly, they immediately lose my vote. I don’t know who is behind it, but it seems there is a “situation” that’s been occurring over the past month or so. There are many times where one of Jack Earhardt’s campaign signs are placed at a location where Jean Bishop has a campaign sign already there. Mysteriously, when a Jack Earhardt sign is placed at that location, Jean Bishop’s campaign sign comes up missing from the exact same spot. Coincidence?????? That’s hard to believe. At least for me, anyway. I think it’s a real shame that “somebody” is stooping that low. And whoever it is, they should be ashamed of themselves. Jean borrowed the sign frames from a realtor friend. There are over 65 signs “missing” now. The frames cost upwards of $45 each and of course, Jean will have to pay to replace them out of her own pocket. What a shame someone is so insecure about running against Jean that they feel the need to steal her signs.. Arizona law says that if any political signs are removed, intentionally damaged or defaced, the defendant is looking at a $750 fine per sign and up to four months in jail since this is a class two misdemeanor. If they stopped stealing her signs today, that would still be $48,750.00 in fines, plus another $2,925.00 for cost of replacing the sign frames. $51,675.00 would be the total in fines and damages. Seriously? Is it worth it to whoever’s stealing her signs? I hope they catch the person. A lesson needs to be learned here. Play fair or pick up your toys and go home if you can’t compete like an adult.
