Dear Editor,
Not everyone is happy with the “same old, same old” status quo. I am a “man of the people,“for the people” and “by the people”, having the will and political courage to get things done.
Our Local Establishment could have always done better for the people but never really did. If we want change, then we must each individually vote for it. Doing the same thing or voting for the same familiar names, the person with the most signs has always been a mistake. Voting for retired professionals such as Law Enforcement, Fire Chiefs, Doctors et al sounds good but they are retired from public service and a huge mistake because they are not peer representation. Relying on the recommendation of politicians electing politicians from the same old inner circles has never tended to serve the people first, and that includes those graced with incumbency via Establishment Appointment. One such individual has used my ongoing detailed campaign platform as Cliff’s Notes for his own. These are some of the little things.
Life gets very busy in our challenging world and we often do not get the time to think of the little things that become so important to our everyday existence. I have taken the time to reflect on all of this and have shared my thoughts and messages in far-reaching media. Kingman John Q. Public has responded over and over as I have delivered my message of promise for the people on the pavement, in the airwaves, in print and social media to many Kingman communities.
I am asking you to consider the little things that make a big difference as to how much your voice, the people’s voice, will be heard in all aspects of Kingman City Governance. Don’t let the drone of the everyday little things, the half-truths; the misinformation; the presumed assumptions, and former mistakes take the focus off what positive steps can be taken to better serve the people and make Kingman prosper for ALL, not just a few who are hoping you will ignore the Little Things.
