HRMC receives Operations Excellence Award

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC) received the 2024 Operations Excellence Award for the company’s western division of acute care facilities. The award was presented by its parent company Lifepoint Health at an annual awards ceremony held in Nashville, Tennessee on February 11.

Lifepoint Health’s Operations Excellence Award recognizes outstanding overall performance across the company’s acute care, rehabilitation and behavioral health business sectors. The award is given to five facilities each year, including one facility in each of the company’s three acute operating divisions, one inpatient rehabilitation hospital and one behavioral health hospital.

The award is given to exemplary facilities that have demonstrated a strong commitment to – and measurably improved – the following areas in the prior year:

  • Quality improvement;
  • Service line growth;
  • Talent and workforce development and engagement;
  • Expanding the facility’s leadership role in the community; and
  • Financial performance.

“Havasu Regional Medical Center is proud to receive this award, which highlights our entire team’s commitment to strengthening hospital operations, while advancing quality and healthcare delivery in Mohave County and the surrounding region,” said Phil Fitzgerald, chief executive officer at Havasu Regional Medical Center. “We are guided each and every day by our mission of making communities healthier, and we look forward to continuing this momentum into 2025 and beyond.”

The award was accepted by hospital leaders Jason Zachariah, EVP and Chief Operating Officer at Lifepoint Health, Richard Bergman, Chief Operating Officer, Micheal Rosen, Chief Medical Officer, Danita Daley, Chief Nursing Officer, Doug Saegesser, Chief Financial Officer, Phil Fitzgerald, CEO, Jen Alderfer, Division President, and David Dill, CEO of Lifepoint Health.

“The hospital has made great strides over the past year in delivering high quality patient care and meeting specific quality benchmarks, while also achieving significant volume growth across key service lines and being a strong community partner,” said Jason Zachariah, EVP and chief operating officer at Lifepoint Health. “We are very proud to recognize the Havasu Regional team with this well-deserved award.”
