Hont to serve as interim Development Services Director

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Manager Sam Elters is turning back the clock for a short-term solution to the pending exit of Development Services Director Tim Walsh. Elters said Nic Hont has agreed to come out of retirement to work his old job on an interim basis.

Hont will start on April 15 and enjoy an overlapping three day transition with Walsh whose final day with the county will be April 17. Walsh starts his new job as Kingman City Manager on April 22.

Elters said Hont intends to hold down the fort until the county hires a new Development Services Director this summer.
