Storming his father’s home in violation of a Protective Order could result in prison time for a Bullhead City man. Kyle Moos, 21, pleaded guilty Wednesday, May 15, to aggravated harassment by domestic violence.
Prosecutor Bob Moon said Moos knew he was prohibited from doing so when he visited his father’s residence on March 15. Moon said Moos knocked on the door and asked to be let inside.
Moon said Moos eventually kicked in the door and entered the home where his
father and brother asked him to leave. Moos reportedly refused to do so before
exiting a window when informed police had been notified and were on their way.
Moos was arrested the next day at another residence in Bullhead City. Moon said
Moos knowingly violated the Protective Order by visiting his father’s residence
on dozens of occasions prior to the March 15 incident.
In accordance with the plea agreement entered Wednesday, Moos also admitted
that he violated probation for previous convictions for making contact with his
father.
Moos is eligible for probation but can also get up to four years in prison when sentenced by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle on June 7.
