KINGMAN – The Kathryn Heidenreich Center (KHAC) will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guidelines for reopening are social distancing, frequent hand washing, wear a face covering, avoid touching face, and stay home if sick. KHAC staff will disinfect frequently touches surfaces. Lysol and wipes will be available to all member. Room capacity is 10 -15 people per large room.
Movie night is scheduled for Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. The featured movie will be Gilda starring Rita Hayworth Glenn Ford, and George Macready. The film is about a small-time gambler who is hired to work in a Buenos Aires casino and discovers his employer’s new wife is his former lover. Steve Conn will provide historical and behind-the-scenes commentary before the movie starts. Popcorn, snacks and drinks will be available. There is a $2 donation per person for the movie.
An ice cream social is scheduled for July 27 through 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to sign up in advance for this event.
The bereavement support group will be starting back up on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. See Pastor Dick or call the center to sign up.
Line dance will be held Mondays and Tuesdays; cardio, exercise, chair yoga, and Tai Chi will be offered on Mondays and Fridays. Rhythm and movement class will be held on Tuesdays.
Painting, hand crafts, beads, and Witches of the Roundtable will be held on Tuesdays. Stamping cards will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sewing, quilting, and adult coloring will be held on Thursdays.
