LAKE HAVASU CITY – The pool players of Lake Havasu got a chance to show off their skills as the BCA Pool League ended their season this month with a banquet celebration and tournament. Their season ending banquet took place on Sunday, July 7 at Mr. Lucky’s Billiards.

The BCA Pool League is a membership-based group where pool leagues from all over the world have a chance to play the games. There is no fee to join the premier league, and League Operators for each town can structure however they wish based on the players. The organization has annual national championships that take place in Las Vegas.

The end of season banquet includes prizes, food, and a final pool tournament. Havasu currently has several different leagues and various skill levels. Anyone interested in joining the next upcoming season can contact Havasu’s League Operator Lisa Lee at 201-707-1968. You can also contact her by email at Lp1tigger@aol.com.

Leagues will resume again this September and team meets are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7 p.m. There’s also a meeting that takes place on Sunday afternoons. Teams normally meet at Havasu’s only pool hall, Mr. Lucky’s BIlliards.

For a small town, Lake Havasu has a very large pool playing community. If you’re someone considering joining a league, you can do so by inviting a few friends to form your own team.  Joining our local BCA Pool league is a great way to get out of the house and meet new people.
