LAKE HAVASU CITY – Spring is in the air, and just the right time for an explosion of folk bands, knights of mayhem joust, pyro jugglers, and all things medieval at this year’s London Bridge Renaissance Faire.

The time traveling mystic festival is being brought to Lake Havasu City by nonprofit Havashire Festivals Inc.  For the past eight years, the organization has made it their mission to spark an interest in history throughout the community with enchanting carnivals celebrating the 16th century.

The fantasy filled three day event will be an invasion of fair maidens, mythical characters, wizards, and fights amongst jousters. Evenings will be full of live stage entertainment like the feasting tournament.

Attendees can cheer on their favorite champion as the characters will engage and encourage audience participation.  Making it the perfect family outing, the weekend Renaissance Faire will have adventure awaiting children and adults.

There will be artisan vendors, musicians, whisky and tea tastings, and much magic and mystery to explore on historic rodeo grounds.  Adult tickets are just fifteen to twenty dollars while military and first responders can get in from ten to fifteen dollars.

Children’s ticket prices are five dollars and kids under the age of five are granted free admission.

The 8th annual London Bridge Renaissance Faire and Joust is set to begin on Friday April 4th through Sunday April 6th at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds.  Information about the festival’s maps and ticket purchasing information can be accessed by visiting  London Bridge Renaissance Faire.

All proceeds of this event will go towards educational scholarships and funding, education, and teacher support.
