KINGMAN – Mohave County Republican Party’s Kingman office has moved, but not too far. The District 1 Office is now at 2116 Stockton Hill Rd, Suite B, 10 blocks north. The prior office sold to a real estate company, necessitating the move.
“We’d closed our office Thursday, and reopened Monday, October 7 at our new address on the corner of Golden Gate and Stockton Hill Rd,” stated District 1 Director Steven Robinson. “It was important we stay on Stockton Hill Road, as an added bonus, we have much more parking. With zero publicity, people in the Kingman area has made our office very popular over the past 18 months. People concerned with our country and our county come in to ask questions and voice complaints.”
District 1, which extends from Wikieup to Colorado City and from the Black Mountains to the Yavapai County Line, is the largest of three Mohave County Districts, both area and population. “It’s a vast District with diverse needs and interests,” Steve said. “It will be a hotbed of activity this election.”
A Grand Re-Opening party is scheduled for Thursday October 17 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Plans include live music, door prizes, refreshments, and an open house. Robinson stated that this event will be the official kickoff of the 2020 elections with several local candidates and elected officials speaking.
