Garibaldi’s continues to grow after nine years

Business offers Italian fine cuisine

KINGMAN – Chef Luigi Garibaldi was born and raised in California where he studied at the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco. Chef Luigi was inspired by his grandmother Deanna Collins to pursue his dream in culinary arts. She was a great supporter of his dream to one day open a restaurant and share his talents with the world.
After schooling Chef Luigi moved with his wife to Alaska to study under culinary greats. Chef Luigi achieved his apprenticeship under Chef Patio Nelson but also studied with many culinary great such as Chef Farrokh Larijani.

15 years ago, Chef Luigi and his family moved to Kingman AZ for his wife to continue her journey as a health care provider. Realizing the lack of culinary options in the community, Chef Luigi was excited to offer his talents. The Garibaldi family opened the doors 9 years ago for only catering and events. Soon expanding into a catering and a lunch only Restaurant September 11, 2017.  Since then, the growth has not stopped, now expanding to include a beautifully transformed historic dining area formally known as the Brunswick hotel. This dining room has been renovated to include as many of the historic original pieces possible from the 1909 historic landmark. When the Original wood was pulled up from the floor to be refinished, we learned that each piece of wood had been chiseled with the word Garibaldi, we knew it was meant to be, finding out later that the wood had been sent from Garibaldi Oregon. Three of the original panels were kept and on display in our historic dining area.
While Chef Luigi is an amazing culinary artist he also shines as a dedicated Husband to wife AnnMarie and father of two amazing children, Luigi Jr and Alana. Held close to his heart his biggest accomplishment is his family, but a close second is his love for helping people. Kingman has been an amazing place to raise our children and grow our family. When dinning at Garibaldi’s its likely you will meet Luigi Jr who works as a server and Alana who helps with greeting guests.

Chef Luigi’s passion for food and perfection shows in every dish he produces. He is determined to create with the very best ingredients cooked to perfection.
Chef Luigi’s style of Cuisine is Italian although he has multiple areas in which his culinary magic shines. The main menu for lunch and dinner includes many Italian favorites such as Chicken Parmesan, Risotto, Spaghetti and meatballs or Lobster Raviolis but also includes perfectly cooked steaks and other delicious favorites such as the Beef Wellington.
Garibaldi’s will have the finest cuisine offered for our community. Now you won’t have to drive out of town for a romantic night out or a great meal with your family. Recently obtaining our liquor license we will be offering beer, wine, and champagne. Our dining room is a historic gem ready to provide the most beautiful evenings for all who come in.
