Explore many restaurants at Taste of Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY – With over 20 participating restaurants, Taste of Havasu will be making another delicious comeback this fall. The annual event is being hosted by Lake Havasu nonprofit, the K-12 Foundation.

For more than 20 years, the academic nonprofit has partnered up with local businesses and individuals to raise funds for schools in support of academic supplies and activities. Their ongoing goal is to prevent inadequate funding for all schools. K12 also is a support system for educators by hosting ongoing events such as their yearly teacher appreciation celebration.

This year, the popular culinary experience will showcase some of Havasu’s most well-loved restaurants. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample delicious food from high end steakhouses like ChaBones, The Foundry, and Shugrues.

Guests can get a chance to indulge in appetizing flavorful wines from SummeRay Wine and Bar and sweet tooths can be satisfied by trying the tasty icecream of Scoops or the decadent cupcakes of smallc akes. It’s very easy to overindulge at this occasion so there will be other fun activities to add to the experience with live music and games.

This event is always a sell out and tickets are available now at Lake Havasu School Unified District Office, Chamber of Commerce, Scoops Ice Cream, and College Street Brewhouse. Presale tickets for adults are $25 and at the gate it will be $30.

Presale tickets for children ages five to 12 are $!0 each and $15 at the door. Children four years of age or younger will be granted free admission. Taste of Havasu will be taking place on Thursday, October 24 from 4:30  to 7 p.m.  at SARA Park Rodeo Grounds. Proceeds will go to the K12 Foundation so that they can continue their journey in supporting students and teachers.
