Elderly woman bound during home invasion robbery in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY — An elderly woman was secured with duct tape during a home invasion robbery incident in Bullhead City. A male intruder reportedly woke up the 75-year old victim about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in her home in the 900 block of La Puerta Road.

Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the suspect directed the woman to lie on her stomach.

“He told her he wanted money and bound her wrists and ankles with duct tape,” Fromelt said. “He reportedly stole cash from her purse and left.”

The victim who sustained no significant injury contacted police when she was able to free herself. No one else was home during the robbery.

“The male suspect was wearing dark clothing and had a mask covering his face,” Fromelt said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact (928-763-1999) Bullhead City Police.
