Eight people arrested in Fort Mohave raid

Eight suspects were arrested at the conclusion of a warrant-based search led by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in Fort Mohave on March 26. The subjects were transported to Kingman and booked into the Adult Detention Facility for various criminal charges.

MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said five grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, multiple firearms and a stolen motorcycle were seized from the property in the 4400 block of Mountain View Road.

“Mohave County Animal Control Officers were called to the property to remove a dog from the residence,” Mortensen said. “Code Enforcement and Environmental Health responded to the scene to address complaints of excessive vehicles and trash and unpermitted structures not suitable for cohabitation with sewage issues.”

The suspects, all from Fort Mohave, and their charges were detailed in a news release.

  • Albert Calabrese, 77. Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Prohibited Weapons Possessor, and Misconduct Involving Weapons.
  • Ronald Calabrese, 71. Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Harold Burke, 69. Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Alesha Archuleta, 34. Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Julian Hernandez Salgado, 28. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant.
  • John Archuleta, 65. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant.
  • Charles Williams, 72. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mortensen said the search activity was a collaborative effort involving  multiple agencies, including Bullhead City and Fort Mohave Tribal Police, the MCSO and Animal Control.
