LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Easter Bunny has all sorts of enchanting activities in store in celebration of a hopping weekend in Lake Havasu City.
Join in on the fun with local nonprofit Havasu Skates spring fling themed event for all ages. This party encourages all attendees to break out in those bright cheery spring clothing and skate happily in either roller blades or roller skates.
The occasion will be a free community event with a special appearance from the Easter Bunny who will be encouraging everyone to take photos together. Additionally, independent Living facility The Views will be celebrating the holiday with an Easter carnival.
The occasion will welcome guests to wear their most splendid Easter bonnet to be eligible as the winner of the Best Easter Bonnet and Outfit competition. Two categories for wins in the contest will be for best individual or family.
With tickets at just $5, your purchase will include face paintings, snacks, games, and of course, a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Lake Havasu’s Parks and Recreation will be hosting an Eggs-stra special occasion for children ages three to 12 to grow their own plants.
With the help of the Masters Gardener Program, children will be able to watch sprouts grow along with coloring eggs, and finding out about different designs that can be created. The famous bunny will not be one to miss out on this event either, and will be making yet another appearance for more photo opportunities.
The Spring Fling Skate Party will be kicking off and celebrating the holiday a day earlier on Saturday, April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sara Park however, their Easter egg hunt and visit with the historic bunny will begin at 5 p.m.
Parks and Recreation Eggs-stra special event will also be taking place this Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Aquatic Center.

The Easter Parade and Carnival will be on Sunday, April 20 beginning at 11:15 a.m. at The Views, and admission is also just $5.
