Downtown Kingman will be ‘all lit up’ for holiday season

KINGMAN – Downtown Kingman will kick off the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 7 with multiple events for the entire family.

Santa will be leaving Beale Celebrations at 4 p.m. to prepare to arrive at Locomotive Park by helicopter at 5 p.m. Santa will then be available to visit with children in his castle near Locomotive Park. The City of Kingman will host its 18th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Locomotive Park on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.

The KDMA Very Merry Street of Lights static parade display will take place immediately following the tree lighting. The event features a stationary display of dozens of beautifully decorate floats and vehicles lined up on the newly renovated Beale Street in Historic Downtown Kingman. This year’s theme is Gingerbread Lane and is a walking event only! There will be music, trackless train rides, food trucks, and the Mingle Jingle Christmas Bazaar in the Beale Celebrations Event Center.
